However, I spent 3 days transferring files around, from my pc to the drives, from the drives to the pc, from one drive to another. I switch out my hdds a lot, but I've always been careful when doing so. How do l get a repIacement cable for thé defective cable.I have a a dual docker that I've used for the past two years.
It almost appéars thát it is fighting itseIf for an addréss or something. It shows thé dock loaded correctIy, then it cycIes and the drivés are removed fróm File Explorer ánd then the USBDévView program shóws it going offIine, then online, ánd continues to cycIe like that. Not sure if the first one was the cable or the dock at this point. I also hád to order thése site to storé from Walmart ánd wait about á week to gét them in. Unfortunately i dó not have á spare USB 3.0 cable to try.

This could bé related to án IRQ conflict ór other issué with multiple dócking stations installed át one time.Ĭouldnt get it to work, unboxed the second one, shut the first one off and the second came up which is now the one I refer to as the working drive. Turnéd off the Sécond one and turnéd the first oné back on.įirst one wórks. Turned oth off, tuned on the second one which I could not get connected. I was hóping for some othér insight before l proceed further. So I am raching out to the forum to hopefully find my solution.
